Coaching
Everyone deserves to be coached. We coach parents, teenagers, and school staff.
Coaching supports you to be your best self; to achieve your potential as a teenager, be the best parent you can be, or excel as a professional.
Coaching is not the same as counselling. Coaching is about making a better future for yourself. Counselling can be about coming to terms with your past.
We help you to bring about lasting change in your life. Coaching helps you to work things out and make decisions for yourself.
Consultancy and advice
We provide advice and consultancy to parents, school staff and corporations.
As a corporation, we support your working parents so that they can be consistently their best professional selves.
As a parent, you may encounter a range of issues with your teenager at home or at school. We can help with these.
As a school we can help you work more effectively with your community, through training and guidance.
Who we are
We are a husband and wife team, Miranda Perry, and Michael Whitworth, uniquely qualified to help you. We
- are both qualified coaches
- have worked extensively in senior roles dealing with teenagers
- are parents of teenagers.
We both have Practitioner Level Diplomas from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Our professional backgrounds are rooted in working with young people. We have led highly successful secondary schools, and a range of national education organisations.
Why Abrial?
It is reported that the ‘social contract’ between parents, teenagers and schools has broken down. Parental complaints are on the increase; more and more teachers are leaving the profession; teenagers’ mental health is a serious problem. Abrial is concerned with restoring the contract for the good of everyone. We are here to help.
